Thirty years since the last Russian forces left Estonia

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the last Russian forces leaving Estonia, which they did on August 31, 1994 – three years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and more than 50 years after the Soviets occupied the country for a second time.
