Hubballi sub-jail expands its capacity from 105 to 185 for undertrial prisoners

The Sub-jail in Hubballi has expanded its capacity from 105 to 185 to accommodate more undertrial prisoners. Four new barracks were added, making a total of 12. Authorities are also conducting various reformation programmes, health checks, and providing legal aid services to support the prisoners. Additionally, security measures like increased CCTV cameras are planned.
