Rohit Sharma’s Fitness Drive: Key Preparations for Upcoming Bangladesh Test Series

India captain Rohit Sharma is working hard to keep fit amid his exemption from the Duleep Trophy, with a home Test season and the demanding five-Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia coming up.

Ten Test matches between September and January are planned for India as part of the current World Test Championship cycle.

The swing starts in September and October with a home two-Test series against Bangladesh. Next, India will host New Zealand for three Tests.

The highly anticipated Australia tour will include the next five Test matches, with the first game taking place in Perth on November 22.

Rohit has been exercising under the guidance of his former friend and current assistant coach of the Indian team, Abhishek Nayar, in order to keep fit for those ten consecutive Test matches.

India’s red-ball swing starts on September 19 in Chennai with the opening Test against Bangladesh.

The captain of India’s Test and ODI teams was seen sprinting in what looked to be a park, but another picture that went viral on social media saw him standing with Nayar and Dhawal Kulkarni inside a gym.

The Duleep Trophy will kick off India’s domestic season in September. The majority of India’s Test regulars—aside from Rohit, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ravichandran Ashwin—will compete in the domestic red-ball competition.

Since the conclusion of the ODI series in Sri Lanka, Virat has been taking time off from cricket to spend with his family in London.
