An ambulance crew made the grim discovery shortly after 1pm today and called cops to the scene.

Bremer Road, Spelthorne

Surrey Police say the incident was isolated and are not currently looking for anyone else involved.

The force has completed a mandatory referral to the IOPC watchdog due to previous police contact with those involved.

Medics found the four bodies at an address on Bremer Road in Staines after responding to a call.

A Surrey Police spokesman said: “Officers were called by South-East Coast Ambulance service to a property in Bremer Road, Spelthorne at around 1:15pm today.

“They sadly found the bodies of three children and a man.

“An investigation is being carried out to establish the circumstances of their deaths.

“At this stage, police believe this to be an isolated incident with no third-party involvement.

“Their next of kin are aware and will be supported by specialist officers. We request their privacy is respected at this difficult time.”

Chief Inspector Lucy Sanders said: “This is a tragic loss of life in our community and we are working to establish exactly what has occurred.

“There is currently a significant police presence at the location, and in the surrounding area.
