FREE MOSES!

With the Warriors getting bounced out of the play-in last season and losing Klay Thompson, aka “The Guy Who Could Make 11 Dribbles Look Like Poetry,” it’s clear this squad is in the middle a mid-life crisis. We’re not in the Splash Bros era anymore, folks. We’re in the era of, uh, something else? Splash Buddies?

Whatever this new phase is, Dub Nation’s job is to keep hoping we can somehow stay relevant in this new basketball world that seems to be in a hurry to leave our golden days behind. If you still believe the Dubs can climb back to the mountaintop, you’re gonna have to scour this roster for something to hang your hat on that isn’t just, “Steph go swish, everybody sleep.”

So, to give you a little hope to hold onto, I’ve reviewed the best games from every non-Curry Warrior last season. Because hey, “We Believe” is our thing, isn’t it?

Moses Moody shines in a start in Los Angeles

The third year man put up a heckuva performance in a start against the Clippers in December, scoring 21 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, dishing out 2 assiss, and snatching 2 steals with 0 turnovers in 31 minutes of play. And while his shot wasn’t falling at a high clip (5-of-13 from the field) his ability to get to the charity stripe paid major dividends, as he went 9-of-10 from the charity stripe.

His ability to play physical and create contact is what the Warriors were looking for when they drafted the silky guard back in 2021. Now with his mentor Klay Thompson gone, we’ll see if he can step into a bigger role with the Dubs going into next season.
