Joel Kim Booster and John-Michael Sudsina are taking a big step in their relationship!

On Saturday (August 31), the 36-year-old Fire Island actor took to social media to reveal that the couple had gotten engaged while on vacation.

He even shared a picture from the happy moment.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Joel shared a photo of himself getting down on one knee to propose to John-Michael while they were on a boat. He has the happiest smile on his face.

The actor also included a selfie that they took together.

“Vacation boyfriend —-> Vacation husband,” he captioned the photos, adding, “Try to be normal about this.”

If you were unaware, Joel and John-Michael met while on a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which he described as “Gay Disneyland.”

“It was the first big party weekend and we met out through mutual friends on the first night and I took him home and we watched the sunrise together on the beach and talked after we hooked up,” he said in a recent interview.

He also opened up about introducing John-Michael to his conservative mom and if he thought that she would come to their wedding.
