A POPULAR Noughties rock band looked unrecognisable as they joined TikTok 24 years after their global smash hit.
The stars shared a video on social media where they participated in a new trend.
Papa Roach is an American rock band that gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
They are known for their blend of alternative metal, nu-metal, and hard rock.
The band was formed in 1993 in Vacaville, California, and its most famous lineup includes lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Tobin Esperance, and drummer Tony Palermo.
The stars teamed up for a TikTok trend where they each shared who they are and what they do.
Jacoby kicked off the video and said: “I’m the singer for Papa Roach but when I’m home, I do the dishes.”
The next clip jumped to Tobin who said: “I’m the bass player for Papa Roach, but when I’m home, I’m the pool cleaner.”
Tony then said: “I’m the drummer for Papa Roach, but when I’m home, I do all of the gardening.”
Jerry added: “I’m the guitar player for Papa Roach, but when I’m home, I take out the trash.”
The bandmates looked world’s away from their music heyday.
Chiming in on the trend, one fan commented: “I’m a Papa roach fan. When I’m home I’m listening to Papa roach.”
Another added: “Nice to see a band where all the members are doing well.”
“I remember the Bizzare festival in 2003 backstage. Times have changed and we had a great time. You’re still awesome,” penned a third.
Papa Roach’s breakthrough single, Last Resort, from their 2000 album Infest, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and No. 57 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Other notable songs by the band include Scars, which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Getting Away with Murder, which hit No. 2 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart.
Over the years, the band’s lineup has remained mostly stable, with the most significant change occurring in 2007 when original drummer Dave Buckner left the band and was replaced by Tony.
The core members – Jacoby, Jerry, and Tobin – have been with the band since its formation.
