Police investigating two car arson cases in Paphos

Police are searching for suspects on two car arsons in Paphos on Sunday, an announcement said.

According to police, at around 1.35 am on Sunday officers were alerted to a fire in Mesoyi, Paphos. At the scene police determined that the car belonged to a 26-year-old man, and that the fire was caused by arson.

Police then received another complaint in Kato Paphos of a burning car. That too was determined to be arson.

The vehicle belonged to a 58-year-old woman and had been stolen a short time earlier from her home.

Police are searching for the perpetrators.
