Another pleasant day Sunday, even cooler for Labor Day

What We’re Tracking

  • Dense fog early Sunday
  • Even cooler Labor Day
  • Staying dry through midweek

It's the start of meteorological fall and we're off to a chilly start this morning with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s. There is some patchy dense fog that has developed across the area and is reducing visibility down to 1/4 mile in spots. As we get more sunshine through the morning, it'll dissipate pretty quickly.

Sunday will feel very similar to Saturday with temperatures climbing into the middle 80s this afternoon. A lot of sunshine is expected today as we get some breezes from the northeast at 10-15 mph.

Drier air has started to take over the entire viewing area with dew points in the 50s. It should feel even better for our Sunday before even cooler air moves in!

A cold front will move in later tonight which will drop our temperatures even more. By Monday morning we could see lower 50s and possibly even upper 40s. Afternoon highs will struggle out of the upper 70s for Labor Day.

Most of next week looks to remain dry and comfortable as temperatures remain seasonable in the low to mid 80s. Our next chances of rain will return by the end of the week with yet another cool down in store for next weekend. Overall a very promising start for September so enjoy the comfortable temperatures for now!
