And in an update to fans, Ben, 50, revealed the show will return for its 18th series.

Taking to Instagram, he told his followers: “New Lives in the Wild……..coming soon.”

Ben didn’t reveal where he actually was, but he could be seen filming from a remote, desert-like location.

Delighted fans flooded the dad-of-two with comments, as one wrote: “Love this program, gives us all the opportunity to dream.”

A second said: “I really like your wild programmes and I am very excited to see you again.”

“Best programme ever,” said a third.

It comes after Ben revealed how he had a ‘secret breakdown’ last year causing him to burn out.

In an emotional update to fans, he explained: “A year ago I suffered a mental health wobble.

“An episode. A storm. A blip.”

“I don’t know if there is a specific term for it but it was basically a burnt out, break down.

“I’ve been on quite a journey since I’ve learnt a lot about my neurological uniquenesses. And I’ve navigated the storm.”
