Manchester United have, as expected, hoped to gain control of proceedings via the dark arts. Though, they may not have gone down as well as they may have hoped.

Virgil van Dijk was at the centre of two incidents involving Lisandro Martinez and Andre Onana in the first half of action at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils’ shotstopper seemed to get away with an elbow issued to our skipper’s stomach during a corner. It was an extremely poor moment that our No.4 took quite well, opting to instead mock the 28-year-old.
