One killed in Sunday morning crash, Lafayette police confirm
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning in a vehicle crash that occurred near Surrey and 12th streets, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
Lafayette police Sgt. Matthew Benoit said the motorcyclist ran a red light and was struck by a passing vehicle. The crash occurred at around 10 a.m.
No other details were immediately released.
