New Photos Show That Ben Affleck Is Back to Old Habits Amid Jennifer Lopez Divorce
Both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are back to business as usual, way before they got back together. Lopez is posting unbothered Instagram posts, and Affleck is back to his old guilty pleasures, like fast food eating.
In photos obtained by Page Six, Affleck was seen picking up a drop-off order of Chick-fil-A, which was dropped off at his Brentwood, Calif., rental home on Aug 30. While this seems like a normal occurrence for anyone, this was seen as a shocker for longtime fans, who noticed he more or less stopped his love for fast food when he was with Lopez. Fast forward to today, after they announced their split, and Affleck is seemingly back to his old habits pre-Bennifer 2.0.

As many loyal fans know, Lopez is quite into health and wellness; and towards the end of their marriage, Lopez and Affleck were seen to be quite tense when they were out. They even made headlines for making a shocking move to go to a couple of fast food joints together, despite Lopez’s alleged rule about fast food and health.
There have been many allegations about the rules in their marriage, one of which being that every time Lopez went to the gym, Affleck had to join her for the entire time, per TheThings. So fast food was not a good look; but now, he doesn’t care and it happily going into fast-food munching again.
For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002, per People. In 2003, they postponed their wedding and then broke up days before, due to the paparazzi and pressure they faced, and were broken up by 2004.
Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony, but as of July 2024, breakup rumors have plagued them.
Then, after months of speculation, per TMZ, Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20, noting the date of separation is April 26, 2024.
