ED Sheeran’s cousin says he has had to ditch the star’s name after threats from his record label.

But Ed’s label, Warner Music, demanded that Ed’s image and name be removed from the artwork.

Bristol-based Jethro, 42, complied rather than face an expensive legal battle.

But he said: “I was super disappointed in him.

“Even my lawyers were shocked how he could do this to family.

“But it’s OK. I’m doing great, working on my new album.

“I wish him the best, just far away from me.”

The Sun contacted both a representative for Ed, 33, and Warner Music for comment.
