Four-star guard Kayden Mingo visits Notre Dame, Penn State up next

Four-star guard Kayden Mingo of Long Island Lutheran (NY) and the PSA Cardinals took the first of several scheduled visits to Notre Dame this weekend.
“[The] visit was really good, they told me they want me to come in be myself and do what I do,” he said by text. “Earn everything and the best players will play.”
Asked what he enjoyed the most, the 6-foot-1 combo guard said, “Hanging out with the guys was cool, genuine love and great bonds.”
Mingo also has visits slated for Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Georgia and Xavier.
“Those are the six I would say I’m focusing on, but it’s still open,” Mingo said.
Mingo has a lengthy family history in athletics. His father, William Mingo, played college football at Delaware State and his older brother, Dalique Mingo, played basketball at Howard University from 2014-18. He also has a little brother, Dylan Mingo, who is a five-star in the class of 2026.
Kayden said it’s a possibility he teams up with Dylan in college.
“Yea, we talked about it,” Kayden said. “Not exactly finalized that we’ll team up or not, but we’re both on our routes. So I would say it’s a possibility.”
