Shambhu border agitation: Supreme Court forms high-level committee to address the concerns of protesting farmers

On Monday, the Supreme Court established a high-power committee, led by former Punjab and Haryana High Court judge Justice Nawab Singh, to investigate issues raised by farmers protesting at the Shambhu border in Punjab since February 2024. The committee is tasked with meeting the farmers to understand their demands and requested that they remove their tractors from the border area.
