‘It’s the new Zara,’ shoppers cry as they run to M&S to get their hands on ‘the best top’ which is perfect day or night
SHOPPERS are racing to M&S to get their hands on a ‘comfortable and stylish’ top – and it’s perfect for day or night.
Fashion and lifestyle influencers are praising the top as an “easy staple” to wear as it can be dressed up or down.
One fashionista, who goes by the name of @wearetwinset on TikTok, discovered the £19.50 top from M&S whilst online shopping.
She took to TikTok to share a video of herself modelling the Pure Cotton One Shoulder Top, which comes in both white and black.
The fashion fan captioned the video: “Okay but where have these M&S tops been all our lives!? So so good.”
The top creates a “striking aesthetic” whilst the short right sleeve gives an “airy feel” which makes it perfect for the current weather in the UK.
Stylists at M&S believe this top, which ranges in sizes from six to 24, can be a “contemporary twist to your casual looks.”
But shoppers should be fast as it has already sold out in some sizes online.
The TikTok fashionista, who is founder of WAT THE BRAND, modelled the top, which is in an easy regular fit from pure cotton, with a pair of wide leg beige jeans which as well as heeled sandals.
Speaking to the camera, she said: “I found the best top.
“How good is this top?
“I saw it online, I think it is a great little ‘going out’ top for summer, holidays, with wide leg trousers.”

The fashion fan previously revealed that she had owned a similar one shoulder top a few years ago, but got a stain on it and “never quite got over it.”
She continued: “Hello M&S, this is so good. Love.
“It’s such an easy staple, it’s super easy to wear, I can think of loads of places to wear it. I’m delighted with this.”
The video gained over 13,500 views with many fashion fans rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.
“I’m obsessed with M&S! New Zara,” gushed a fashion fan.
Another asked: “Which side of the shoulder [does it] cover? The reason [for] asking is because I want to cover my left side tattoo shoulder.”
Wearetwinset replied: “It covers the right shoulder.”
Shoppers also rushed to the M&S website to share their reviews on the top, with many rating it ‘excellent’ for quality, and value for money.
