Pop star Liza Jane’s fave skincare includes a $3 drugstore product – her skin ‘looks just as good’ as with pricier buys

DRUGSTORE beauty products are just as effective as pricey brands for keeping one pop star’s complexion glowing.

Liza Jane revealed her affordable skincare routine includes a $3 buy that cleanses and tones.

Liza, 25, is a Florida native who lives in Los Angeles, with over 60,000 streams on her latest song, Storm.

Despite the chaos of starring in music videos and traveling for shows, keeping her skin picture-ready is relatively simple.

Speaking to The U.S. Sun, Liza shared her favorite beauty buys.

SPOTLESS ROUTINE

Liza became cautious about what to use on her skin after experiencing “severe eczema” on her elbows, behind her knees, and her eyelids when she was younger.

Cetaphil and Ucerin make gentle and fragrance-free products that are her “go-to” because they don’t cause flare-ups.

“My skin looks just as good using drugstore brands as it does more expensive ones,” she said.

Liza noticed that her skin went from being oily while living in Key West to combination amid LA’s dry weather.

Her daily routine has helped to get her skin in a “great” place.

“When I get up in the morning I wash my face with a gentle cream cleanser, usually CeraVe Hydrating facial cleanser, or when I break out the Renewing SA cleanser,” she said.

“Of course, if I was singing or had a performance the night before I go to bed I use micellar cleansing water first then the face wash.

“I like Burts Bees micellar water wipes.”

Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes with Rose Water cost just $2.99 on the Burts Bees website.

According to the brand, they remove makeup, cleanse, and tone skin without “harsh” rubbing or rinsing.

Delighted shoppers have highly rated the product after being wowed by the visible improvement they saw in their skin.

Liza said her nighttime routine includes several products that have active ingredients.

She is always educating herself about ingredients and has found The Ordinary to be a “good affordable” alternative to expensive brands.

“At night I usually use The Ordinary Glycolic Toner,” she said.

“If I have acne I put the Neutrogena acne benzoyl peroxide spot treatment.

“For serum, I use Timeless Vitamin C Serum and Hyaluronic acid.

“The Ordinary retinol. For moisturizer, I use Jergens’s natural glow with SPF.”

HYDRATION HEROS

Liza revealed that she supports her home beauty routine with professional treatments.

“I swear by steaming my face or using a sauna to detox,” she said.

“Also, Korean skin spas here in LA are a lot of fun and help you get glass skin.

“I try to go to them a week before I do a show but especially after traveling.”

A nutritious diet and staying hydrated are equally important for maintaining her flawless appearance.

“To keep my skin healthy, I make sure I have enough good nutrition like protein and collagen either in what I’m eating, or I take supplements,” she said.

“I also drink a gallon of water in a day, it also helps take care of my vocal cords, take vitamins, and work out.

“Sweating helps release toxins from the skin.”
