Manor Solomon is up and running at Leeds United, announcing himself with an exquisite assist in his first game for the Championship side.

Solomon, who completed a season-long loan move to Leeds last week, was thrown straight into the starting eleven by Daniel Farke for the club’s clash against Hull City at Elland Road.

The winger did not disappoint, tormenting the Tigers’ backline all game and making a decisive contribution in the second half as the home side emerged 2-0 winners.

Solomon went past two defenders down the left flank on 63 minutes before producing a probing cross by the touchline that was turned home at the near post by Mateo Joseph to put Leeds 1-0 up.

This is sort of the inventive direct play wide-lay that Tottenham are currently lacking, which was why Ange brought Solomon to the club last summer.

If the winger can prove his fitness at Leeds this season, he might just have a chance of forcing himself back into Postecoglou’s plans at Spurs.
