I worked at Nando’s for 3 years and couldn’t believe the maternity leave present they sent me – it left me speechless
A MUM-TO-BE has revealed the surprising present she received from her work colleagues at Nandos.
El was just one week into her maternity leave when she got a home delivery which left her speechless.
The young woman, who goes by the name of @ellpatoon on TikTok, took a video of herself opening the present and it has since gone viral with over 10.4 million views.
El has worked at Nando’s for three years and the company celebrated her birth by sending her the “cutest” baby shower gift.
And upon opening it, El discovered that they had carefully picked out some baby clothes with Nando’s branding.
First off, she pulled out some milestone cards which appear to have the Nandos print just like their menus.
She then pulled out a baby grown, along with a matching hat which had “powered by peri-peri” printed on fabric.
Finally, El then pulled out a green pair of baby socks which had ‘Happy fee since ‘87,’ and ‘Nando’s’ printed on the soles of the foot.
The video attracted over 4,680 comments with many people sharing their praise for Nando’s.
One fan gushed: “Ok so nandos needs to be praised, I have never heard of a workplace that cares let alone this omgggg soo cutee.”
Another added: “Nandos passed the vibe check.”
A third wrote: “Stop, oh my God. Congratulations.”
