FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Monday Evening,
It has been a nearly perfect Labor Day Monday weather-wise. We will continue with tranquil weather for the first week of September, with little rain chances if any late week with a strong cold front. Tonight, expect a breeze out of the northeast to keep temps up in the lower 50s to upper 40s outside of town.
Tuesday will be a beautiful, seasonal September day, with highs in the lower 80s and mostly sunny. We will stay mostly sunny for Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Our next cold front will arrive late on Friday, this will bring in more clouds on Friday, and may slow temp rises to the lower to mid 80s on Friday, with a few isolated showers possible late Friday.
Friday night will likely have the best chance of showers in the next week or more, with chances not great either. The weak shower chances will linger into early Saturday morning, before clouds and drier air follow with the front. Depending on how much we can clear out, will determine highs for Saturday. At this point, we will likely only get to the lower 70s, but its possible we could stay in the upper 60s, depending on timing of the front.
Saturday night will be chilly with lows in the 40s, and Sunday with sunshine returning, we will only crack into the lower 70s. Monday will be cool to start, with sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 70s.
