The drugs were discovered in a car parked in an open area in Limassol on the night of August 21. The first arrest was made on the same day, involving a 38-year-old, who, after a police check, was taken into custody to facilitate the investigation. Further inquiries led to the arrest of a 21-year-old on August 22, followed by the arrest of a 23-year-old on August 29.

The second 21-year-old suspect, whose photo and personal details had been released by the police on August 29, was detained on Monday night under a court warrant after being identified at Paphos airport.
