WORKING at Dollar Tree gave one beauty enthusiast the opportunity to get first pick of the best makeup products.
Among her favorite buys that “slap so hard” was an item that may last her up to 20 years.
The former Dollar Tree employee revealed the beauty items worth buying in a post on Reddit’s Muacjdiscussion forum.
IT’S A HIT
She wrote in response to a user asking people to share budget-friendly makeup that “surprised” them.
“I worked at Dollar Tree last summer and got my grubby hands on anything I was interested in,” she said, writing under the handle Pleaseordercorn.
“I can tell you that the Wet n Wild teal tube mascara and the BEAUTY BENEFITS SILKY BLUSH both SLAP SO HARD for no reason.
“The blush is pigmented enough to be an eyeshadow it’ll probably last me twenty years I wish I got more than just one shade lol.”
Many people upvoted the post and the Redditor who started the discussion shared her opinion.
“I happen to have the beauty benefit silky blush!! And you’re SO RIGHT — that stuff SLAPS,” she replied.
“I’m considering buying one of their bronzers cause I like the blush so much lmao.”

Dollar Tree is known for selling its products for just $1.25, but the beauty recommendations cost more when bought elsewhere.
Wet n Wild Mega Protein Waterproof Mascara has a 3.6-star rating at Walmart, and costs $7.70.
According to the brand, it has been designed for “healthy-looking” lashes and to “frame” eyes.
The best results are achieved by wiggling the brush from the root of the lashes to the tip and repeating until the desired volume is achieved.

Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find dupes of their favorite products
Shoppers found a perfect replica of a $150 set of Pottery Barn plates and bowls. Plus, Dollar Tree has matching mugs.
Dollar Tree also had dupes for the viral Starbucks tumblers.
Customers found dupes for Home Depot’s $39 outdoor solar lights.
Dollar Tree has a dupe for The Pink Stuff cleaning paste, too.
One shopper raved about the mascara not being “clumpy,” while another said it makes their lashes look longer without leaving any marks under their eyes.
“I use this product to complete my makeup look and it really does the job,” a third said.

The makeup products come after another Redditor found lipstick from big brands at Dollar Tree.
She bought a L’Oreal, two Revlon lipsticks, and six shades of Covergirl lip products.
She swatched the colors on her arms and advised other people to visit their local stores.
“I was super surprised to see these at my local Dollar Tree!” she said.
