Rush expected as easyJet tickets go on sale today for summer 2025 – book now to get the lowest fares

EASYJET has started selling millions of discount flights as part of its Big Seat Release sale, which launched this morning.

The sale is for flights to and from the UK for next summer, and started from 8am today.

The budget airline has announced that 33.3 million seats are being made available across 185,000 flights.

Of those being released this morning, 17.8m UK seats are being made available, starting from £14.99.

Deals are now live, although seats for some flights may not have been released yet, with holidaymakers urged to keep checking if their destination of choice isn’t available.

The seats released today are for trips to be taken between June 16 and September 30 next year.

Customers were alerted to the seat release with an email that reads: “On Tuesday September 3 you can book flights up to September 30, 2025.

“Will it be al fresco dinners in the Med, yacht-spotting in the South of France, or a sun, sea and sand-absolutely-everywhere trip to Greece next summer?

“Where you decide to go next summer, don’t miss out on The Big Seat Release landing Tuesday.

“Set your alarms and get ready to kickstart the countdowns.”

The airline has also launched thousands of package holidays for summer 2025.

There are more than 7,000 hotels for holidaymakers to choose from, with all packages including flights, accommodation, 23kg luggage and transfers on all beach getaways.

Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has urged people to get up early to ensure they get the best prices, with the rush for bargains likely to increase costs quickly.

He has previously said: “EasyJet’s pricing is demand-based, so the more people buying, the higher the price goes – which means the early bird often catches the cheap worm… or flight.”

MSE has also urged people to keep trying if the deal they want hasn’t been released to make sure they’re able to get the best price once the flights are released.

In an article released ahead of today’s release, they advised: “Seats are unlikely to be uploaded instantaneously in one go, so the smart thing to do is get up nice and early to have a look.

“If what you want isn’t there, go back and check again every 10 minutes or so.”

There are plenty of flights to choose from as well, with more than 120 destinations available across Europe, North Africa, and even the Middle East from 19 different UK airports.

Additions to the easyJet summer timetable for next year include new flights to Spain, Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Cyprus and Egypt.

Included in those are three new destinations that have been added to London Southend, which is now hosting flights to Malta and Almeria and Reus in Spain.

Elsewhere, trips from Liverpool to Paris, Nice, Palma, Alicante and Barcelona are all now on offer, as are routes from Glasgow to Berlin, Palma and Faro.

Ali Gayward, UK Country Manager for easyJet, said: “We’re delighted to be putting millions more seats for next summer on sale today so that customers across the UK can book early and enjoy great value fares to a host of Europe’s most popular leisure destinations, including on brand new routes to Italy, Spain, Turkey and North Africa.

“With hundreds of routes available from 21 UK airports, our short-haul network offers unrivalled choice for those planning their holidays for next year and we can’t wait to welcome them on board.”
