Bangladesh completed a historical series triumph against Pakistan and whitewashed them in the 2-match Test series. The Tigers won the first match by 10 wickets and won the second by 6 wickets to win arguably their most remarkable series in history.
This is the first time that Bangladesh have defeated Pakistan in a Test series so this win will definitely be remembered for years by the Bangladesh fans.
After the loss, Pakistan is left reeling at the eighth spot on the WTC points table with 16 points and are now on the verge of elimination from the Test tournament. The only team below them is West Indies. On the other hand, Bangladesh is placed on sixth place in the table with 33 points.
