Just read that Cov have the record for an EFL Trophy game that isn’t the final at Wembley, which was a 3-0 defeat at home to Crewe in the regional final.

That actually makes me laugh.

31,000 plus. And they went up to Gresty Road and nearly pulled it back. Our biggest non-Wembley one is 24,002 against Orient in 1995.

Coventry fans only turning up when there was a chance of success? Who'd have thought it.

Could say the same about our fans tbh, or pretty much any club’s fans bar about half a dozen or so in this country.
