I was looking for flights home from Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters during interval before epic comeback, says Judd Trump

JUDD TRUMP admitted he was searching for flights home before recovering from 4-0 down to beat Wu Yize in snooker’s Saudi Arabia Masters.

Entering the tournament in the last 32, world No 1 Trump looked set for an immediate return home after losing the first four frames.

He used the mid-session interval to look up flights from Riyadh back to the UK — but also rediscovered his form, making breaks of 56, 101, 61, 89 and 55 to seal an unlikely 5-4 victory.

Trump said: “I was looking at flights home. I was on Skyscanner, I swear.

“It was expensive as well, so I knew I had to win after that!

“I’m over the moon because the table was playing very strange at the start. There were a lot of times when I thought I hit it OK and it was just going nowhere near.

“It was about trying to find some momentum and belief because I had none in the first four frames.

“I’m very, very happy with that. That was one of my best wins, in  digging in and my self-belief.”

Former world No 1 Mark Allen was unable to match Trump’s heroics, going down 5-1 to China’s Xiao Guodong.

Fellow top-16 players Barry Hawkins and Ali Carter lost to Scott Donaldson and Elliot Slessor respectively.

O’Sullivan has three children – two daughters and a son.

And the Rocket’s on-off relationship with British actress Laila Rouass has also hit the headlines.

He has opened up on battles with his weight and addiction.

While the controversial cueist reckons he wasted NINE YEARS of his career by partying too hard.

Despite being worth £14million, O’Sullivan is renowned for his love of canal boats and snubbing flashy cars.
