LASG REVAMPS SCHOLARSHIP BOARD, BOOSTS AUTOMATION
The Lagos State Government has disclosed that it has revamped the Lagos Scholarship Board and also boosted its automation as part of efforts to make the agency more effective and efficient
Ms. Adenike Adekanbi, General Manager of Lagos State Infrastructure Asset Management Agency (LASIAMA) made this disclosure recently at the Iyana Ipaja office during the final inspection of the revamped office.
She disclosed that the renovation is part of a broader initiative by the Lagos State Government to modernise infrastructure and enhance service delivery.
Adekanbi said, “The renovation reflects the Lagos State Government’s commitment to improving public service facilities. Under my leadership, we have ensured that the project not only met but exceeded its objectives, resulting in a more functional workspace”.
Board Secretary Abdurahman Lekki expressed his appreciation for the upgrade, highlighting its positive impact on the Board’s operations.
“The renovation has dramatically transformed our office environment. We now have a more spacious and conducive workspace, increased staff morale, and upgraded toilet facilities”, he said
Lekki also pointed out that the renovation aligns with the Board’s ongoing digital transformation, adding that the Board has fully automated its processes, including online interactions with beneficiaries via platforms like Zoom, to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
He commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his crucial support in both the physical renovation and digital modernisation efforts.
“Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration is deeply committed to modernising public services. The Governor’s support for automation and infrastructure improvements demonstrates a strategic vision for boosting government efficiency”, Lekki remarked.
The revamped Lagos State Scholarship Board office now stands as a testament to the state’s dedication to upgrading its facilities and services. The modernised workspace is expected to enhance both staff productivity and beneficiary satisfaction, marking a significant advancement for the Board and its role in supporting students across Lagos State.
The renovation, executed by Ardent Waypoint Ltd, represents a major upgrade in the Board’s operational environment.
