Euro giants have now opened talks to sign Man Utd star who started against Liverpool - Journalist
Galatasaray have entered talks with Manchester United over a loan deal.
The Super Lig champions recently signed Victor Osimhen on loan from Napoli. They are now eyeing a temporary move for Casemiro.
According to journalist Ali Naci Kucuk, Galatasaray are keen on bolstering their midfield before their transfer deadline next week.
The Turkish giants have made contact with Casemiro and talks are also ongoing with the Red Devils over a season-long loan.
United unlikely to part ways with Casemiro without replacement
Casemiro had a dreadful Premier League derby against Liverpool on Sunday.
He gifted possession in the lead-up to both goals scored by the Reds in the opening half. The Brazilian was substituted at the break with Toby Collyer replacing him.
This has led to serious questions over Casemiro’s future at the club. The 32-year-old is no longer in his prime and it may not be long before he leaves the Red Devils.
Galatasaray have made a loan move for the midfielder, but we don’t see a deal happening. United cannot pursue a replacement for Casemiro until the turn of the year.
United have the chance to sign Rabiot as a free-agent, but that would be a backward step. He is already 29 years of age and would not suit the club’s transfer policy.
The Red Devils could wait until the next transfer window before contemplating Casemiro’s exit.
The new management have already indicated that they won’t make any rash decisions. Casemiro’s future won’t be decided based on one poor performance this term.
