New Jersey man sentenced to 15 years for crimes committed in Niagara Falls

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A New Jersey man was sentenced to 15 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision for crimes he committed in Niagara Falls in 2021, the Niagara County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.

40-year-old Quennel Jordan admitted to assaulting an individual with a baseball bat in July 2021. He also admitted to his involvement in the assault of an individual in the same month outside a gas station in Niagara Falls.

He additionally admitted to assaulting someone in June 2021 and attempting to assault someone else with a baseball bat, also in June 2021, according to the district attorney's office.

Jordan previously pled guilty to two counts of second-degree assault, one count of second-degree attempted assault and one count of first-degree attempted assault.
