Louis Partridge Has NOT Been Cast in Netflix's 'Chronicles of Narnia' Adaptation, Despite Reports

Louis Partridge will not be starring in a new adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia.

The 21-year-old actor was rumored to be the first casting announced in a major role in the new movie adaptation for Netflix.

He was said to be portraying the character Digory Kirke, but the original report of his casting has been removed and the credit has also been removed from his IMDb page.

Deadline was the first to break Louis‘ casting news in an article about his upcoming Apple TV+ series Disclaimer, but a rep for Netflix confirmed to Teen Vogue that it was not true.

Netflix was first reported to be developing The Chronicles of Narnia films and TV series in 2018, and in 2023, Greta Gerwig has named as a director for a movie!

Greta has previously noted how she’s “terrified” to direct the new adaptation.
