Eighties singer, 63, has barely aged as she releases TENTH album and continues touring
EIGHTIES singer Alison Moyet showed off her ageless looks as she prepares to release her TENTH album next month.
The singer, 63, is best known for her work in synthpop duo Yazoo and as a solo artist.
The songstress looks incredible after 40 years in the industry[/caption]Alison is set to be release her latest album on 4 October 2024, to mark her 40 year anniversary as a solo artist.
Key is an 18-track collection, showcasing her “artistic creativity and song writing over these four decades to the present and beyond”.
She has reworked 16 tracks from across her solo career – including singles, fan favourites and some deep cuts.
Alison said about the album: “I wanted to take the opportunity to look at the trajectory of the past four decades and explore songs that, in their original form, were never fully realised or have had their relevance to me altered by time.”
The songstress continues to show off her youthful looks over the years – making appearances on many TV shows including BBC Radio 2 ad snaps of her on stage at various gigs.
The musician keeps fans updated with her life away from the cameras – including the proud moment she received her MBE in 2022.
WHAT IS ALISON BEST KNOWN FOR?
Alison was involved in a number of local punk rock bands during her teenage years while juggling jobs as a shop assistant and piano tuner.
Alison is famed for her deep, soulful voice and self-penned lyrics.
Yazoo were a British synthpop duo consisting of Alison Moyet and Vince Clarke.
They released two albums, Upstairs at Eric’s (1982) and You and Me Both (1983), which gave Yazoo a number of Top 3 hits including Only You, Don’t Go, Situation and The Other Side Of Love.
Yazoo split in 1983, citing a personality clash and creative differences for the break-up.
Alison and Vince reunited in 2008 for a string of live dates and to celebrate the reissue of their discography.

Alison Moyet began her solo career immediately after Yazoo’s split in 1983.
She’s since sold over 23 million albums and scored nine Top 30 singles.
Her most streamed songs on Spotify include All Cried Out, Love Resurrection, Is This Love? and Love Letters.
Alison’s latest album Other was released in June 2017 and she will embark on a world tour later in the year.
Alison is married to David Ballard with whom she has done daughter, Caitlin, 21.
She is also mother to son Joe, 32, and daughter Alex, 30, from previous relationships.
She currently resides in East Sussex.
