Govt eases import norms for raw, calcined pet coke

The government has eased import norms for raw and calcined pet coke, allowing shipments to cater to the domestic needs of aluminium and other industries. Additionally, Odisha's forest department has been granted an extra 12 months for exporting red sanders heart wood, a protected species in high demand abroad.
