Robbie Williams reignites feud with Oasis as he takes huge swipe at Noel

ROBBIE Williams has reignited his 90s feud with Oasis after taking a huge swipe at Noel Gallagher.

Singer Robbie, 50, made the jibe in an interview just days after brothers Liam, 51, and Noel, 57, announced their 17-date UK tour.

The Sun first told how the lads – whose feud stems back 30 years – had put their differences aside for the sake of fans.

But it appears their fallout with Robbie is yet to be resolved.

According to The Mirror, the Take That legend said on an uncredited podcast: “The soap opera alone will either be exciting and or ghoulish to watch.

“As for the shows? They’re gonna be incredible, off-the-scale special. Oasis getting back together is going to be a healing moment for our country.

“Liam Gallagher reading his phone on the toilet would be more charismatic and intriguing than 99.9% of the world’s population at their most enigmatic.

“All he has to do is stand there and sing for the audience to be guaranteed their money’s worth.”

The superstar then jested: “Noel will be there too.”

Robbie was locked in a war of words with the Oasis stars for two decades at the height of his career.

The Rock DJ hitmaker challenged Liam at the 2000 Brit Awards with a £100,000 bet to fight after Noel called him a “fat dancer”.

Speaking on the Talent Takes Practice podcast, Robbie described their feud as “unbearable” back in 2021.

He said: “Every time I watched TV programmes, there were people being hateful about me. That was just wrong and grotesque. It was unbearable. I just left the country.’

“I remember every single syllable of every single thing they’ve ever said about me.”

“Liam said that I should be hung, Noel said I was ‘the fat dancer from Take That’.

Neither brother is a fan of Robbie, after Noel famously referred to him as the “fat dancer from Take That” while Liam branded him a “fat f*****g idiot” in 2013.

And then, in 2018, when Liam admitted he was keen for Oasis to get back together, Robbie claimed they would only be forced to because their solo careers won’t last.

Asked if he thought there would be a reunion of the group, Robbie told The Sun: “I think there will be.

“Liam Gallagher has just come back and he’s done pretty well. He had a platinum record with his solo album and I think that’s what everybody was waiting for. I think the next time he releases an album it won’t do as well.

“Noel’s album didn’t do too good either. I think it sold like 70,000 copies or something, which for Noel isn’t great.

“If they’re anything like me, which I think they are, they will want to be doing the most successful thing they can do, and the most successful thing they can do is a reunion. I think they’ll both need to do it.”

Despite Robbie’s claims, the brothers weren’t struggling with their then-latest albums — both went to No1.
