Daniel Craig Spotted Leaving Venice Hand-in-Hand with Wife Rachel Weisz After Successful Festival Appearance

Daniel Craig is ready for an awards season run with his movie Queer after a successful appearance at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.

The 56-year-old actor and his wife, Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz, were seen holding hands while heading to the airport together on Wednesday (September 4) in Venice, Italy.

Daniel and Rachel walked the red carpet the day earlier to attend the premiere of Queer, his new movie directed by Luca Guadagnino. The movie has been getting plenty of rave reviews and currently holds a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “Set in 1950s Mexico City, Queer follows William Lee (Craig), an American expat in his late 40s, as he leads a solitary life amidst a small American community. However, the arrival in town of Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), a young student, stirs William into finally establishing a meaningful connection with someone.”
