He has not added EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick on Instagram, leading fans to wonder if there is an issue between the pair.
If so, it will be interesting to see what sparks fly when each of them take to the dance floor.
Nick was one of the first celebrities to be confirmed for this year’s Strictly line up.
The Sun revealed that he had been spotted filming at a London shopping centre with pro dancer Nadiya Bychkova in August.
The two seemed to be enjoying their time together, with Nadiya laughing as she chatted with a member of the BBC film crew.
It is not known who Jamie will be paired with this autumn, but it won’t be his first time competing for the Glitterball.
The soap star won the Strictly Come Dancing festive special in 2023 and has now been invited back to the show.
He triumphed alongside professional partner Nancy Xu after they impressed the judges with their Quickstep.
Strictly fans can expect to see him being announced as part of the official cast this evening as show bosses air a trailer for the new series.
The sneak peek will be played on BBC One just before 7:30pm.
With the 20th anniversary on the horizon, the cast seem more energetic than ever as they attempt to get the nation excited about the series again.
