Man accused of stabbing wife to death in Queens spa
FLUSHING, Queens (PIX11) --- A man is accused of stabbing his wife to death in front of several customers in a Queens spa on Tuesday, police said.
Jiahai Ma, 25, allegedly attacked his wife, Jui Mei Tang, 26, inside the Spring Garden Spa near Kissena Boulevard and Barclay Avenue in Flushing at around 5:45 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Tang was rushed to the hospital with multiple stab wounds but could not be saved, police said.
The husband and wife had a history of domestic violence, authorities said.
Ma was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to court records. His arraignment was pending on Wednesday.
