Boyfriend set home of girlfriend’s parents on fire in NJ: police

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (PIX11) – A New Jersey man allegedly set the home of his girlfriend’s parents on fire after a fight on Tuesday, police said.

The incident happened in South Brunswick around 3 a.m., according to the township's police department.

Leonard Jones, 50, allegedly set fire to the home on Old Beekman Road after getting into a fight with his girlfriend, police said.

Three people in the home made it out unharmed, authorities said.

Jones was arrested at the scene and was charged with aggravated arson and domestic violence, according to the South Brunswick Township Police Department.

Several fire companies responded to put out the fire.
