DR Congo expects first delivery of mpox vaccines on Thursday, WHO says

GENEVA, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- The first delivery of mpox vaccines will arrive in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) on Thursday, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday.

The DRC ministry of health plans to begin deploying the vaccines donated by the European Union this weekend, WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told a press conference in Geneva.
