Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan Signs New Five-Year Deal With WWE At 71
New Delhi: One of the greatest wrestling stars of all time, Hulk Hogan has signed a new five-year contract with WWE, the 71-year-old revealed recently. One of the most remarkable WWE figures, especially in the eighties and nineties, the Thunder Lips played a vital role in making entertainment wrestling popular, and looks like his job is not done yet. Hogan’s new deal with the WWE is mainly for licensing and merchandising purposes.
Hogan explained the deal and discussed how he was looking to stay tied to the company to continue doing what he always loved. “I signed a five-year deal for you know the licensing and merchandising stuff and you know like the ambassador stuff they need me to do some for WrestleMania. I just love doing it you know. It’s definitely different,” he said in a podcast show.
After revealing his new contract, Hogan also spoke about how he was impressed with WWE wrestler Logan Paul pursuing his career in wrestling. “I’ve never seen anybody since I am at wrestling events that I was in the business for years, I have never seen anybody pick up on it as quick as you have and you’re stuff looks f***ing believable. There are no holes in your work so just don’t get hurt,” Hogan said.
The warm tribute led to Paul revealing how he believed in himself and had a discussion with the company’s Chief Content Officer Triple H for an opportunity to be ‘The Guy’. The Thunder Lips even went on to claim that Paul should not be involved in a storyline for any other championship other than the World Heavyweight title.
He expressed his support and said, “Paul should not be any type of champion except the World Champion at this point. You need to make that quick transition and if they’re smart, Triple H is smart, that transition needs to be made this year.” During his career, Hogan won six WWE Championship titles, starred in movies, television shows, animation series and became an icon for youths. His fans began to call themselves the ‘Hulkmaniacs’.
