FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday Evening,
It has been a warmer than normal day today, with a cool start to the day, but a quick recovery with dry air in place. It will not be quite as cool tonight with temps generally about a half dozen below normal for this time of the year. Expect numbers in the 50s to start Thursday, and we will quickly warm into the upper 80s under sunny skies in the afternoon.
Friday will likely be our most active, and possibly most needed weather day. Expect sunshine early, but late afternoon to evening, the approaching cold front will bring in clouds initially, then a chance of rain and storms with it, as this will easily be our best chance of rain in the next 7 days. In fact, once the front clears overnight Friday night into early Saturday, rain chances will be done.
Saturday will be a much chillier day, with a bit of a breeze, and highs only in the lower 70s to upper 60s with clearing skies. Saturday night will be very cool for this time of the year, with lows in the 40s everywhere, with numbers approaching 40 in our north and northeast to start Sunday morning.
Sunday will be beautiful with sunshine, and highs in the lower 70s. We will climb to the upper 70s on Monday with sunshine. Back to the lower 80s on Tuesday, and dry and warm Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
