'SNL' Star Sarah Sherman Lands Guest Role on 'General Hospital'

Sarah Sherman is heading to Port Charles!

On Wednesday (Sept. 4), it was announced that the 31-year-old Saturday Night Live star and comedian will be guest-starring on two episodes of ABC’s long-running soap opera General Hospital airing later this week.

Keep reading to find out more…Sarah will be playing Ms. Finch, a spirited etiquette teacher for Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). She will be appearing on the Thursday, Sept. 5, and Friday, Sept. 6, episodes.

In an interview with People, Sarah, who has been longtime fan of the soap opera, said that the role is a dream come true.

“I had the best time of my life and I couldn’t believe I got to act in a scene with ‘TRACY QUARTERMAINE’!” Sarah shared in a statement, referring to actress Jane Elliot. “I was so nervous about flubbing my lines, because I was surrounded by pros who memorize like a billion pages of dialogue a day. Also I met ‘Sonny Corinthos’ [Maurice Benard] so I can die happy!”
