Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans Appear To Be At Odds

The odds of the former Blue Devil being traded are going up

The Brandon Ingram speculation is heating up in the Big Easy.

Former Duke star Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans have been at odds recently and the pressure seems for a trade seems to be building.

The rumors have been there for a while, but on Wednesday, Ingram posted this on social media: “You cannot stay in environments where people don’t know the true value of you.”

We haven’t seen where exactly he posted it but possibly Instagram.

That and his decision not to participate in voluntary workouts with the Pelicans has cranked up the speculation.

Among the links we’ve seen, the chances of Mike Dunleavy striking a deal for Golden State seems minimal, but Trajan Langdon may try for Detroit. There’s also speculation (which makes no sense) that Dallas will strike a deal that sends Luka Doncic to the Pelicans for Ingram as part of a bigger deal.

And also, former Lakers teammate Nick Young thinks giving up B.I. is ridiculous.

With training camp around the corner, this will get resolved quickly, one way or another.
