Kroger CEO defends potential merger with rival Albertsons during hearing
The CEOs of two major grocery store chains testified at a hearing on Wednesday in Portland, Oregon, defending Kroger's nearly $25 billion purchase of Abertsons. The FTC is trying to stop what would be the largest grocery chain merger in U.S. history.
