Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Yunus calls for resolving issues over Teesta water-sharing treaty with India

Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has stated that the interim government will pursue resolving the long-pending Teesta water-sharing treaty with India. He emphasised the need for both countries to adhere to international norms and highlighted the rights of lower riparian countries like Bangladesh. Yunus also called for humanitarian cooperation in managing flood situations until a treaty is signed.
