Today’s weather: Mainly clear, isolated rain inland and in mountains

Friday’s weather is expected to be mostly clear, with increased localised cloud cover at times, particularly during the afternoon.

Inland and in the mountains, those clouds may develop into isolated rain and even the odd storm, with the possibility of hailstones falling in some areas.

Temperatures are expected to rise to a high of 36 degrees Celsius inland, 31 degrees Celsius on the west and southwest coasts, 33 degrees Celsius on the rest of the coasts, and 25 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Overnight, the weather will remain mostly clear, with temperatures set to drop to 22 degrees Celsius inland, 24 degrees Celsius on the coasts, and 18 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

On Saturday and Sunday, the weather will be clear in most parts of the island, though some areas of cloud are possible. Similarly to Friday, those clouds may develop into rain or storms inland and in the mountains.

Temperatures are expected to remain stable through Monday.
