Sunset event for bookworms

The CyBookworms Club hosts its annual charity event this September and its recipe has got heart-warming ingredients; books, the sunset and charity donations. All that, at a seaside venue in Larnaca.

On September 27, the Book Me On a Sunset event will take place at the Lebay Hotel Beachfront in Oroklini from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. There, families, friends, young visitors and of course, book lovers will get to browse second-hand books that the Traveling Charity Book Shop will sell – a gorgeous blue campervan by Vintage Ride Cyprus. The proceeds raised from the book sales will go towards the Rhea Foundation to help children in need.

Apart from books, there will be cocktails, snacks and a cosy beach setting decorated with cushions and blankets as well as a bonfire to add to the summer-autumn mood. Attendees are invited to bring a book to chill and read, share stories or whip out their guitar or a ukulele to play music and sing songs. A wholesome afternoon awaits towards the end of September, raising money for a good cause through the love for books.
