All states, UTs achieve over 50 pc tap water coverage in rural households: Official data

All states and Union territories have achieved over 50 per cent coverage of tap water connections in rural households under the Har Ghar Jal scheme. Eleven states and UTs have reached 100 per cent coverage. The initiative aims to provide tap water to all rural households by year-end, with significant progress noted in flood-prone areas like Assam.
