Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, says he is excited about quality of players they have recruited for the season, adding that they deserve the hype. Having finished 6th last season, the Porcupine Warriors parted ways with 21 players including Richmond Lamptey, Ibrahim Danlad and other players.
