Person hit, killed at intersection of SH 21 and FM 535

BASTROP COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- Part of State Highway 21 was closed in Cedar Creek Saturday morning after a person died in an auto-pedestrian crash in the area.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded to the crash at 6:17 a.m.

DPS said a person was struck by a vehicle and died.

The Bastrop County Office of Emergency Management said the intersection of Highway 21 at FM 535 closed around 6:30 a.m.

The office said in an update the roadway reopened at 10:45 a.m.
